In today’s episode we will be Planting Cara Seed Potatoes in Five 43 liter Buckets, They are a High yields potato, round tubers with excellent resistance to disease and stores well. Boil, mash, saute, bake or roast. And there Blight tolerant.
Because the photo club I belong to is having a competition next month in which the them is "Leaves", I’ve been looking at leaves a little differently recently. This leaf is from some kind of geranium plant that lives in a hanging basket on our back patio, It looked kind of pretty with the sun lighting it from behind, so I brought it inside to photograph where it wouldn’t be moving around in the wind.
Strobist info: Because I wanted to back light it, I simply leaned it against a 24 inch softbox containing a YN560 and triggered it with a Yongnuo RF-603N. The flash was in manual mode.
Other plants, flowers, fruit or thingys that I’ve photographed using strobes can be seen in my Strobe Lit Plant set. In the description for that set, I list resources that I’ve used to learn how to light with off camera flash, and the equipment that I use. www.flickr.com/photos/[email protected]/sets/72157628079460544/
