How to plant, maintain, and harvest your vegetable garden.
Raised Beds, mid-August
showing the second planting of turnips and brocolli. Too much rain and too many cold nights– the peppers are terrible. Also, blight disease on the tomatoes. It’s all over SW Ontario.
The super-duper, hurricane-proof tomato "cages" are in the background. I can tie a 10-pole to the top crossbars and that stake will NEVER topple. No matter how heavy the vine. Also, I can drop "lines" from the top crossbar and wind the tomato vines on them as they climb.
