If you aren not careful you can easily damage the nonstick surface of any unit, the Black and Decker griddle being no exception.

Black and Decker electric griddle pan is quite hard, and you can actually feel its presence. Food like eggs pancakes, usually just stick to the unit’s surface and make the cooking and cleaning so much harder than what it should be. Black and Decker commercial electric griddle unit has accurate temperature controls that can heat the surface up to 400 degrees. Black & Decker family size griddle can’t get the even heat that is required in order to provide the user with decent cooking results. Food gets burned (usually the food that is placed above the heating element) while the food that is placed in the center or a bit far from the heating element gets barely cooked.

Most of the times the electric griddle don’t have a surface that heats up perfectly even. However, they have a pretty bad heat distribution, and the uneven heat makes the cooking so difficult that no cheap price or unique features can compensate for this failure. Two positive things about the product in family size is the cheap price and its surface is very large. Most of the griddles in the market have these advantages and can actually be used for cooking great food. Presto griddles are available at an economical price and provide  a large cooking surface along with a way better nonstick coating. Rival griddle and the Broil King Electric griddles offer a large nonstick cooking surface distributes the heat much better than the Black & Decker family size pan.

Waffle maker of the Black and Decker Company is much more popular than the GR100 family sized griddle, but it’s far from being perfect and others claim that it’s just as poor as the GR100 griddle. The product of the Black and Decker with warming and drip pans is excellent for any size family. Black and Decker Family Size griddle with high back and the lip all the way around that allows grease to flow away from the food and down to the drip pan. Once the Electric griddle pan unit is hot, it only takes a few minutes to cook the food. You can make hamburger once you have this n your home but, it makes a lot of mess. It has a warming tray on the right side under the griddle, so when you get a few pancakes or sausages ahead, you can stuff them away in the warming tray. Overall, it is affordable and can be used by any family.

Quoting Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum | Northrop P-61C Black Widow:

The P-61 Black Widow was the first U.S. aircraft designed to locate and destroy enemy aircraft at night and in bad weather, a feat made possible by the use of on-board radar. The prototype first flew in 1942. P-61 combat operations began just after D-Day, June 6, 1944, when Black Widows flew deep into German airspace, bombing and strafing trains and road traffic. Operations in the Pacific began at about the same time. By the end of World War II, Black Widows had seen combat in every theater and had destroyed 127 enemy aircraft and 18 German V-1 buzz bombs.

The Museum’s Black Widow, a P-61C-1-NO, was delivered to the Army Air Forces in July 1945. It participated in cold-weather tests, high-altitude drop tests, and in the National Thunderstorm Project, for which the top turret was removed to make room for thunderstorm monitoring equipment.
